This is our fourth year to have Jarino lambs. Our development of this breed is going well. We still raise purebred Merinos and purebred Jacobs, but found that we also like the benefits of the cross. The benefits have been the exceptional wool quality of the Merino with the heartiness of the Jacob. We have found that Jarinos have given us extremly soft, fine wool that ranges in color from a mixture of dark browns, to blacks and whites.
